The result of an uninterrupted collection and collection work since the creation of the Atelier in 2011, the garden – mainly above ground – is now part of the building and it is no longer known who was present before the other. There are now 600 botanical species: ancient roses, maples of Japan, Asian Buddlejas, Iridaceae of South Africa ... A proliferation that makes it possible to maintain the gardening gesture, to nurture creativity and to make its customers discover the collections, by appointment..

Collecting, cultivating

The botanical journey begins at the bottom of the house, on the edge of the forest, on a walk on weekends ... but always by observation and confrontation in the living. Then, from horticultural knowledge, gardening know-how, to cutting techniques, to the aesthetic of garden art, to architecture, to botany. The subject is vast!
The constant practice of botanical gardens and the discovery of plants in their natural environment considerably enriched the creative palette of the Workshop.

Experimenting, cultivating

Once the plants are identified with our collector horticultural or nursery partners in France or abroad, place to plan.
Throughout the year we check the richness of the soil, complete their water needs, observe the nature of the interactions with the faunal biodiversity of the neighborhood, integrate phytosociology for a good growth harmony between each plant.
We buy new plants to install them at the workshop, to grow them, to train them ... in a word, to make them live. This unique plant experimentation laboratory is thus formed..

Garden, for inspiration

Without the previous steps, the floristic apogee would be only short-lived. The workshop is radiant in May, as opposite: profusion of Iris versicolor 'Berlin Versilaev' intermingled with a sage of the Greek maquis (Salvia fruticosa), the roses 'Thalia', R. 'New Dawn', R. 'Martin Frobisher' and R. 'The Generous Gardener' are already in good bloom. Further on, the weeping butterfly tree (Buddleja alternifolia) cascaded on a mollated azalea.
The work of a designer cannot be derived from the work of the land. This is the philosophy of the Workshop: a work of architects and gardeners.
